When a project is assigned to another LSP as a vendor, the originating account assigns resources such as translation memory and glossaries to the project. If an MT option was not selected, it is still possible for the vendor who has been assigned the project to choose an MT engine for the project and pre-translate the document.
I have been assigned a job as a vendor, can I still pre-translate the files using MT?
